How does shipping work?
Depends on the time of year. During the hotter months we will ship on the following Monday of the drop. We do this to mitigate melting (even though we cannot fully control it). You also get two options to ship. A standard $10 rate. (3-5 Day Shipping). Or we have our $25 Expedited Shipping which is 2 Day air with UPS.
What does the $25 Shipping include
We ship the chocolates in a insuated bubble mailer with a large ice pack and it is expedited 2 day air shipping via UPS.
Does the chocolate melt in the heat?
While not always, if the the chocolate is transported in a truck without a/c the chances are it will melt. In the case that your bar arrives melted simply place it on your counter to allow it to get to room temp and solidify, or you can expedite the process by placing it in the fridge or freezer.
Why is your business model only drops?
Currently we are an extremely small team. 3 people run the company 1 ecommerce manager. and only 2 chocolatiers! These bars are HVY hence the name and each one requires extra HVY LOVE to make sure they are perfect. With that being said we have to limit the batches we make.
Is there a limit on how many bars a single person can purchase?
NOPE! We believe the early bird gets the worm. Our product is not something that can be resold at the moment and we are confident even people that buy multiple bars either are consuming them or gifting them.
